She was a part of the audition for the role during the Stratford Shakespeare Festival (Ontario Canada) and received. She received rave reviews for her performances in the 92 shows performed the play was voted the production of the year by Canadian reviewers in 2002. The opportunity was presented to her to join Stratford Conservatory. It allows only eight males as well as four female students for a crash course in traditional theatre.
